File not found.I calculated the root function in Mathcad 15. This is normal. But I calculated the root function in Smathcad Studio, but I cannot get the result. why does SMath say "NO REAL ROOTS" Please tell me someone.File not found.

Hello,

solve(2) uses a global range of your own executable, that can be set in Tools > Options > Calculation > Roots (range); to have more control it is better to use solve(4) (the number is how many arguments are rquested by the function);

for roots, the syntax is roots(functions,unknowns) or roots(functions,unknowns,guess) (roots(2) and roots(3))

NO REAL ROOTS is good indication of wrong range in the solver.
Roots may be complex, use the Smath/Maple companion [Example: roots of unity].
Always wise to attach the document. Much wiser => plot the function before solving.
