Matrix product - Why a Syntax Error ? - Сообщения
Hi to all,
Although I am registered since 2014, I only found some time recently to "play" with SMATH.
First of all, I would like to thank Andrey, the man with a magic brain, for his huge work ;-)
Smath is a great tool and I plan to use it for a teaching purpose.
To the point now. I have attached an example with a matrix calculation where Smath math gives me
a "syntax error". I would like to understand what is going wrong.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Mikaël

Hello Mike,
Thanks for the tip ! This works fine indeed.
Yes, using the units would be certainly a better idea to avoid my "old" constructions. I'll explore the units in the next days.

WroteThat's because you try to assign the product not to a variable, but to a matrix. Try replacing leftmost part (before :=) to some variable. It will hold the resulting matrix.
This Mathcad syntax must work since 5953.
