This document is one of many in the source *.PDF
It's unlikely you may obtain the Laplace for more
of the examples. You are left with "rk" .
Out of the 17 'rk' in Smath you will drop dead
17 times on that example. There may be 19 'rk'
in the latest versions.

Sorry Jean, I did not get your point

jean-ode1.png

Although, some of the mentioned 17 solvers do not work on my Win7 x64. Those are

ODEsolvers
mk52lfa(init,0,1,500,D(t#,X#))=
mk52lfn(init,0,1,500,D(t#,X#))=

I think I do not know how to use them, or I missed something - error (X# -not defined)

Matlab C++ Math Library
mwode*() functions

Matlab C++ Math Library is installed, but I do not have the functions available (not available in the function list - although plugin installed regularly). I think because it is a Win32 library - not sure.
Actually, I am not quite sure why they are not working on my x64 system. On some other systems (x86) they are working. I'll check them once more.

Radovan

Thanks Radovan,

Works fine. Problem was "shadow in the context".
All the green work fine as they are "ordinary rk"
Red don't because they are not for linear/NON linear "systems".
I will work some examples.

Cheers, Jean

All the dn_* solvers worked for me but, as I mentioned mk* did not. That's strange

... and none work for me !!!

"mk" are for Jacobi. mk521fn works fine, NOT mk521fa.

Thank you Jean, I forgot to read more carefully the explanation . I realized that I did not know how to use them (still not sure).
By the way, as you said, only one of the two "mk" function works.

Radovan

... the question about 'mk521fa' is whether Smath
can support the "unknown presumed code" or does
not support at all. A working example is needed.

I think that these two "mk" functions are not yet finished completely by uni - see this post and it seems there are no given working examples. Anyway, uni made so many solvers that work very well and I believe these two will also work fine as soon as uni find the time to correct them (giving us the working examples as well).
