Engineering Units - Сообщения

Hi,
I would really like a feature to keep all results effectively displayed in engineering notation, eg 2A 3mA 4uA 5nA etc.
This means displaying the number with the unit prefix m, u, n etc where possible, where not possible use the format c.10^d where d is a multiple of 3.
(eg don't do 4.5 * 10^5 A, instead do 0.45 * 10^6 A or 450 * 10^3 A or even better 450 MA or 0.45 GA if the units are available)
- see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engineering_notation
Thanks
NB SMath is great - have been looking for something like it (free) for years!

More control over the format of results would be welcome, including forcing the answer to display in engineering notation, standard scientific notation, or ordinary decimal notation. A global setting would be nice, but I think it should also be included in the right-click drop-down menu. This would allow changing the display format for selected results on a case-by-case basis. While not at the top of my wish list for Smath, still it is a good idea.
With regard to units, Smath allows you to create and use whatever units you desire. See screenshot below:

See this thread on how to force an answer to use the units you desire: Working with Units
Hope this helps.

Things seem to get really messy when trying to force the units of a matrix whose columns contain different units.
so it would be nice to set 'default units'. For example, the default unit of mass is 'slug', and the default unit of length is 'ft' and force/area is 'psf'
Just a simple suggestion.

I made an issue for this: http://smath.info/bts/Issues/IssueDetail.aspx?id=1245
