WroteHi. Try this too. Needs a "Nightly builds":
.
I meant. Is it possible to automatically convert a formula to find a value from it? Type as in the example in the picture

Sorry, maybe I didn't understand something?
Hi Вуаутвук. Do you have the "Nightly builds"? (Download it at the link). I use a very recent new behavior, not pressent in the stable beta versions).
Best regards.
Alvaro.

WroteI didn't quite understand what it was, but thank you.
Read like this:
1. 'f' is an expression, i.e: a formula
2. it depends upon 10 parameters from blue sky
3. you wanted its result be 'P' call it "unk" [unknown]
4. if you can measure then assign 9 parameters,
there is one left not measured then "unk'
5. you said you wanted to solve for 'd',
given all 9 other parameters and the result "unk"
solving for 'd' is the maple implicit solve block
maple(solve(unk-f,d)) ... evaluate symbolic.
6. symbolic expresses 'd' wrt all 9 given parameters
and the demanded "unk"
implicit unk-f means unk-f=0

Hi Вуаутвук. Some notes:
- Use units. For instance, alpha=45 isn't usual, but alpha=45*deg is.
- R.max^3-R.min^3 is more usual than R.min^3-R.max^3.
- You can't solve P with the same equation from "f".
- Empirical coeffs usually carry some units.
I don't know very well the process that you're describing, but guess that this is a good aprox to the correct solution.
