Greetings -

I have just discovered SMath, and believe I'm falling in love with it!
(convenient, given Valentine's Day is just around the corner)

I have a few questions, though, to get me up and going: I was using 0.90-portable on a Vista-64 machine

1) I don't believe I was able to define range variables (as in MathCAD) for use in indicial notation.
Is this possible, or are for-loops currently all there is?

2) I believe array indices are of the 1 through N sort, as opposed to 0 through N-1 - is this correct?

3) Relative to the sheet-capture below, is there any benefit to pre-defining arrays, as in line 5?

4) I verified the frequency array to be correct (line 6, on the left), but the 2D time array (to its right) was interrupted after an hour of calculation time,
and an astronomical number of page faults. What would be the SMath way of creating that array?

5) Is there a preferred row-column ordering of loops (inner vs outer) as there is in MathCAD?

(screenshot)

I thank you kindly in advance.

Regards,
Louie

Hello Louie. Great to see new people here!

Re 1) Try the range() function.
Re 2) Yes, you're right.
Re >=3) Sorry, but I have no flickr account...

Why don't you try dropbox. I am using it for a while and quite satisfied with it (free initially 2GB space - never expires).
