And many respect to Andrey! In the last few days I also found many points where SMath is superior to MathCad.

1. For publishing, Mathcad/Mathsoft MCD 11 is simply different.
2. Speed wise, Smath way behind !
3. Symbolic MCD 11 renders more/less/different than Smath.
4. Data fitting, Integration ... MCD 11 has no competition.
5. For advanced maths, MCD 11 needs much less companion utilities.

Long word short, you can;

- Change optimization of region
- Vectorize() if it is possible
- Use eval() for some formulas
- Re-code your algorithm

Sometimes you can't improve speed.
Even you did everything right.
If speed is crucial for you on iterations;
Use another software, preferably opensource.
