Hello everyone, I've been watching the statistical problems and is easy to calculate the math, but my question is if you can do graphics states, at least the simplest, the bar areas, and series.

Yes, a better Stats support of SMath is one of my "top on the list" wishes as well. Regarding Stats functions I would very like SMath to have similar functions like Mathcad (density functions, cumulative and inverse cumulative etc.). Those functions have the same name and follow the same convection as in the well known commercial package S-PLUS. It is not a surprise because Mathcad and S-PLUS have been maintained by the same company (this is not the case now). On the other hand there is a great free alternative to S-PLUS called R. Although it is free, this software (R) is one of the most famous and distinguished stats software in the world. Its calculating and graphical characteristic are outstanding. Using R might be a problem because of its way of working. It is basically a "command line" oriented and, therefore, it has so called "steep learning curve". It needs quite an effort to learn and use R. On the other hand, SMath is easy to use, very attractive to the beginners and advanced users as well - but less powerful and with less features.

Now, let' see the reality in contrary to our wishes.
- R is maintained by a group of developers (R-core team), supported by huge number of people around the world for many years. It has a secure financial contribution as well.
- SMath is maintained and developed by a single person, supported by few people and it started few years now. The financial contribution to SMath is negligible.

I hope that you understand my point. Regarding SMath as an outstanding software project IMHO, if we can not help in some way, at least we can do is to have patience and maybe our wishes will come true

Regards,
Radovan

thanks for the response, if indeed conosco R and I know I'm statistical statistical programs, there are also SPSS, MINITAB, SAS, ect.

SMATHS only that I had to give pleasant surprises and good for a moment I thought that if things had statistics.

I hope to continue to improve ... moment can be locked with the arrays.
