Maxima today was originally Macsyma, the ancestor of the more advanced Maple.
Maple is more direct companion to all versions of Smath.
The Mathcad/Mathsoft Maple was even superior to Maple.
Smath/Maple companion did all symbolic advanced projects.
True: the Maple is not 100% cracked in Smath.

It is practically possible to use the available sources, but people are needed who will do this.

SMath Studio works on different platforms (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, web ), so the source code should support this in the same way.
It is very difficult to include other sources if they are not in С#. Therefore, it only makes sense to consider projects in C# for these purposes.

Smath has its own built-in symbolic.
Hover the cursor on a piece of maths to see the internal symbolic.
If you see an expansion, then type this piece of maths and Ctrl+. to expand.
