Buenas, he estado practicando con SMATH para mi desarrollo profesional y el problema que encontre es el uso de la ecuación SOLVE para desarrollar una ecuación.

Estoy usando una referencia que encontré en internet de ejemplo para guiarme.

En el problema el programa es capaz de darle una respuesta real, en cambio cuando lo desarrollo yo, me da raíces no reales.

Si alguien me puede ayudar o explicar se lo agradecería.

Coloqué todo en color amarillo y naranja para que sea fácil de entender.

solve() and roots() doesn't support units, directly.
You can trick them by adding unit next to variable.
maple(), Maxima(), FindRoot() can work with units.
That solvers can directly find solutions to formulas like yours.

There is an al_nleqsolve() also, most capable of all solvers.
But it is quite complicated to use, look Reference Book for usage.

You can look mkraska's amazing work where you stuck.
It can be downloaded from Tools>Plugins>Interactive Books>Interactive SMath Handbook.
Then click use by default at left bottom of that window.
There is a blue button on main window upbar which has a question mark on it.
It will open it directly when you made that handbook default.
