[DEV] Custom Regions: issues / requests / ideas - Сообщения
#1 Опубликовано: 19.09.2013 18:07:31
issues found in Custom Regions:
the parsingContext.FileName is empty
OnMouseMove can't recognize that the mouse goes outside the region when you move fast the pointer (mouse jumps out from the region and the coordinates are not updated)
(already) requested features (no rush):
- a way to customize region's borders (as idea a simple color control could be enough - switching the color to white or transparent one can draw customized borders inside the region - the default border color can be restored on region focus to show the standard resize layout);
- a way to hide resize's placeholders;
ideas:
- not sure if this is possible/easy to make: a way to add and handle an undefined number of variables' placeholders to place freely inside the region (this maybe with a way to disable the main placeholder)
best regards,
Davide

- not sure if there is already a "standard way" to do this: a region to make "shapeshifter" functions ( i mean functions like sum(), el() , line(), sqrt(), etc... )
best regards,
Davide
I strongly support both proposals:
- Multiple placeholders would be fine for axis limits and x and y expressions in diagrams (mathcad-like)
- see image for proposals of custom operator formats (from "wish list.sm" in the Activebook).

Another little issue (or is a feature?)
is used to get the regions from the worksheet, but the tag name on the worksheet seems is set using the class/namespace name...
