I tested the attachment of files to pdf documents in order to provide a self contained set of written handbook and active sm documents.
However, the current version windows installer seems to not thoroughly setup the file associations. You can doubleclick sm files in the shell (file manager) and they launch correctly. If they are launched by doubleclicking file attachments in Acrobat Reader or PDF Exchange Viewer, then there is a complaint that no application is associated to that file.

What makes me and another tester convinced that it is a SMath issue is that attachment opening works perfect for e.g. odt files. They open with Libre Office, Open Office or Word, whatever you installed.

For reproduction of the error please see the handbook link in the signature, page 46 has an odt link and page 75 has an sm link (image is active)
