"Hz", the SI unit of frequency equates ONE cycle per second.
In my times, ONE cycle was ONE complete revolution.
So, ω:{2*π*'rad}/{8.6*10^4*'s}=7.306*10^{-5}*'Hz incorrect.
Bug 6179 Hz NOT radps.sm (6 КиБ) скачан 44 раз(а).

Thanks Davide for re-threading to the original from "Javier"
There are rights and wrongs in the Smath unit system.
For sure Smath is wrong saying "1 rad/s = 1 Hz"
1 rad/s = 1/2pi Hz
rad/s is a measure,,, Hz is a count.

As stated in [SS-2395], there are just two things that SMath is to blame for at the moment:
- the default unit for dimension 1/time is Hz. This should be 1/s instead. Then the interpretation of what the 1 in the numerator counts (revolutions or radians), is left to the user.
- the angular velocity units are listed in the category "frequency". Should be "angular velocity" of course.
When these things are fixed, SMath won't contribute to the confusion any more. Which doesn't mean that there won't be confusion...
