I have been using SMath for a while now, but have not tried any new plugins.
Today I tried to install the ComboBoxRegion, but it would not install. I now get an error message when the program loads. "Could not load file or assembly 'SMath.Controls, Version=0.97.5346.42164 ... The system cannot find the file specified."
I also downloaded the .zip file and placed the .dll files in the plugins folder. that did not appear to make it work either.

What might I be doing wrong that this does not load?
I also would like to know how to remove it from the list of Local storage plugins?
Is it correct to not see it in the Online gallery now?
I haven't tried any other plugins for fear that I can't remove them.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I just tried to update the program. It did not appear to install the update.
I then removed the program and installed the latest version.
0.97 (build: 5346)
8/21/2014

I now receive the following message when starting the program.
ComboBoxRegion.dll
That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers.

What do I do now???

The strangest thing...
I just exit the program.
I start the program again, and the original error is displayed and the version of the program is back to 0.97 (build: 5154) 2/10/2014
I have never seen this type of version issue.
I will try to remove again and reinstall the latest.

I reinstalled for my username only and not for all users.
The version is now remaining as the latest.
I still am getting the "...partially trusted callers." message.

As for the initial issue, your previous version was the first stable version with the Extensions Manager, so probably skips the "target version" parameter, added later (at least in the front-end).

About the latest issue I think only Andrey can help you
