I've attempted to create mkrata's Background.sm example - shown here...

In my attempt below... clicking the Check Box (aka Button) does change the color of the Plot region...
But not the CFL region as it does in mkrasa's example.

I thought it may be an alignment issue but I can't get it to work.

I see in your example c is colored as blue.
That means you mistakenly input c as unit.
Reassign it to c variable.

OK, that did it...

I had to look very closely at the choices when I typed in the letter "c" in order to see that the first choice was different from the others which had a blue thing next to them... which, I guess, makes them a "unit" and not a variable.

Also, I've been unable to find documentation defining the 5 fields in the plot...

I've guessed...
[x_value y_value period_meaning_circle variable_name]

Alsu deducted the 3 fields for the CFL as...
["text_to_appear" "text_color" variable_name]

In the "Extensions" section of the forum there is a thread for almost any plugin. Usually the documentation is attached to the first post.

For CFLabel it is here (CFLabelRegion_docs.7z)
