Hallo guys,
i have an simple qeustion:
How can i numerical solve an equation with a solver block like in mathcad.
An equation which is transzentent for example
for example:
sin(x) + x = Y --> solve for x
and how can i solve an equation when equation is not transzentent?
like in mathcad with a solver block area....?

how can i solve an equation when equation is not transzentent?
The attached document is minimalist, but most precious for advanced demand.
root is not documented neither available from f(x) menu
but active from Smath/maple companionship.
Observe how powerful for applied maths.

here you have all the gallery plugins, you can download the ones you need and drag&drop those zip archives on your program canvas.
Also, you can create a portable distribution and download/update once you are on another system.

for example: Excel Files Plugin --> downloaded but contains no files (maybe firewall delets the content from it...)
Ill use the solve function
another question:
for example if i have a simple equation:
a+b=c
how can i symbolic solve the equation
so that a=c-b is the result.
If i use solve function all variables need to have a number
I simply want to symbolic solve the equation to a variable without using any numbers asigned to a variable

There is maple and maxima plugins for symbolic calculations you asked for.
SMath's own symbolic engine is not capable as those two.

Notice the optimizations are set to symbolic to view results.
You can check and set optimization of individual regions by right click.

There is a file missing:
cmaple.exe / maxima.bat missing
What can i do ?

It seems your mentioned firewall settings prevented proper installation of Maple plugin.
Usually SMath plugins are saved under this path in Windows 10.
C:\Users\
I can copy my plugins directory on Windows partition and upload it for you to download and copy/overwrite.
But it won't be a convenient way to install plugins. Set an exception to your firewall for SMath downloads.

Maxima is another subject, plugin seems installed but you will need Maxima software to make it work.
Latest version can be downloaded and installed from link below.
https://netix.dl.sourceforge.net/project/maxima/Maxima-Windows/5.46.0-Windows/maxima-5.46.0-win64.exe
You also have to set the path for Maxima.bat under Insert>Maxima control windows>Settings menu.

It may have not all plugins, it is just copy of my personal folder.

It is in also plugin.zip file I uploaded for you.
