hi,
I am trying to create a sheet to design welds and want to plot the geometry of the weld lines.
the problem is if I assign a matrix with x,y coordinates the 2D plot will draw a continuous function connecting all points, and when I assign this to a discrete matrix of line coordinates it does not plot unless I assign each line individually which is bad as I want it plotted based on the geometry.
in the example below, I want the 2D plot to plot LW without manually adding each component of LW individually.

Thanks

One possible options mat2sys.1() function.

... make it algo style. CG can be managed as well.

... it may be possible to make svg [Scale Vector Graphic].
Cheers ... Jean.

... this is NOT a graph. It is an image triplet.
1. You can size the thickness/magnitude of the CG
2. You size length/thickness/color of the side welds
3. re-dispose the final triplet.
Cheers ... Jean.

You might consider building geometry plots from the pre-defined objects in the XY-Plot-plugin.

And maybe you may be interested in this other Martin' post, if you want to draw steel profiles to be welded, and by the way calculate their mechanical parameters: https://en.smath.com/forum/yaf_postsm78221_Split-Areas-Polygons-convex-and-concave--by-lines.aspx#post78221
