Does SMath support factoring polynomials, like:
2x + 6
=> 2(x + 3)

Hello vnaumov,

I have tried your example using symbolic evaluation and SMath gives the result:

2.x + 6 = 2.(3 + x)

Is this what you need?

You can use Maple or Maxima for this purpose.

Thank you, Maxima does factoring, like x^2 + 4*x + 4 ==> (x + 2)^2
I downloaded "Unofficial portable distribution with Maxima", https://smath.com/wiki/%28S%28p1gq0245uny440554qdivzik%29%29/SMath%20with%20Plugins.ashx
