Hello,
i'm new here but i need your help,
approximation of one variable, but x is unknown and it asks me to define what I do?
below the screen.

Hi Mode,

with symbolic data you must use the symbolic evaluation; you have 3 ways to do that:

- type CTRL+. from keyboard
- click the symbol from the Arithmetic toolbox
- select Optimization -> Symbolic from the context menu

Unfortunetly still have the same problem.
I do as u say and make it symbolic but he still want to define x1
