I'm getting the following error when starting SMath
I've tried reinstalling both WriterRegion and SMath itself
I've even reinstalled outside the C:/Programs folder incase its some sort of permissions problem

anyone else having similar issues ?

Hello Peter,

Are you sure it is the WriterRegion plugin?

could you try the following?

  1. go to %APPDATA%\smath
  2. rename the extensions folder
  3. launch SS, any third party plug-in should be gone
  4. install WriterRegion
  5. close and open the program again
  6. if doesn't fails, download another of your plug-ins, close and reopen the program
  7. if doesn't fails, repeat the point above

stop it when the guilty is found.

Thanks for the help Davide,

I've tried the method you suggested , however when I re-launch SS (after renaming the Extension folder) it continues to load some of the plugins.
I'm looking for any other folder that it could be pulling the plugins from but no luck so far.

I've even resorted to removing SS from the PC in the hope of clearing the plugins but its still loading them and when I re install WriterRegion it fails.

I shall carry on looking for a solution

thanks again

Plugins are loaded from 2 sources, %APPDATA%\Smath and the installation directory; please check if you have third-party plugins inside the installation directory (in this case remove them). Also, you can try renaming %APPDATA%\Smath insteado f the extnsions subfolder

You have the same issues with a portable version?
