Hi all,

I want to show the amount of variations in the formulas, like the red part in the below image.

Currently Smath just calculates the result from the formula and does not show the amounts in the formula.

Can anyone help me with this?

Welcome to forum and SMath community.
Near every new user asks what you seek.
Unfortunately what you asked is not possible currently.
And I am afraid won't ever be available anytime.

This is how Smath works. Smath is not a equation editor.
It is a calculation program, similar but not same to mathcad.
SMath doesn't even store units as they have been input.
They are always converted base SI units (m,kg,ca,mole,s,K,A).
I can't be 100% sure but near all calculation softwares do this.
(Maxima, Mathcad, Maple, Mathematica, GNU Octave, etc)

However, you can write some tricks and functions to show your amounts.
But it will be time consuming, hard and not practical.
In example below there are a lot of confusing aspects.
I post it for you to show it can be done and check what is done.
It will not work for all situations however.
I will humbly suggest you to not seek showing amounts.
Especially if they contain units.

There is an ugly way to enforce storage of the given value "as is" - use the line operator.

Yet the best you get for display is the original numeric value with the original unit converted to base units. I don't see how the latter can be suppressed, yet, it should not be a principal design problem of SMath.

Greetings,

Here are two forum threads you can review in pursuit of your question (they take advantage of SMath quirks that may not be apparent at first):

May this be of Good Help;
