Thank you. This came straight from the function that Ber7 and Jean helped with. It worked on my other sheet too, so this is more generic.
As the the units ... I need to adjust in plotting, not the function, thank you.

You just mentioned few minutes ago that your "Sound Pressure"
work sheet didn't work anymore. I still have it working fine.
The format incorrect, empty work sheet from your attachment.
Cheers ... Jean

Revisiting this old calc with SMath newer features and some function definitions.

  1. No longer works if I redefine the logarithmic sum with vectorize
  2. I cannot get the "heat capacity function" to work for ploting

Thanks for the help.

I suggest the "heat capacity function".
In calculation and on graph used not feet but meters.

Ber7,
Thank you! I gave up trying to figure out how to use the Mat2sys version. You are genius! Much like the manning equation, sound is "cleaner" to calculate in metric (no coefficient for unit conversions, etc.) Being in the US, I would require the plot and final solution to show in ft. I played with UofM(m)/ft to get the conversion factor for any distance you may want
