Hi!

I have the following code, and the last integral is not solved by the program. I did not find any solution.
Can you explain me, what is the problem?

Thanks a lot!
Bye
Pali

In some way doctored in red. Setup the integrator scalar wrt 'x'.
Cheers ... Jean.

Hi Pali. At this time, you can't use if(..) inside an integral, use cases(...) instead. Also, SMath's integral new version can handle better units.

Hi Alvaro,

thanks a lot! It works fine. Thank you.
What do you mean: new version of integral?

Best regards
Pali

I do not really understand what you did
1. recast if/else ► if/otherwise.
2. made ∫ scalar wrt 'x' for local/vectorize

Hi Pali. In the "new" version of the integral it puts the units of the result correctly, while before some corrections had to be made. From "list of changes" here: Defined Integral supports units now.

Best regards.
Alvaro.
