Not in my knowledge, the only way might be to expose the link path on the screen. Regions are passed to the printer as Graphic objects, all the magic is done beyond our code. Even in TextRegions or WriterRegions, text is converted to links if the pdf engine detects a link scheme in the text, regardless what is done in the program.

I don't know if it is possible to do something using the PDFFiles PLugin, I'll take a look at it...

Probably I didn't write it properly: I would like to open an sm file that contains Hyperlinks, and save it as pdf where Hyperlink Regions are still clickable links.

Don't take my word, my 15 years old NUANCE PDF creator has that feature.
At the time I paid CDN $ < 50. Still working but never use for *.sm

Here is the answer:
1. include the web hyperlink in the Davide Writer Region in your *.sm document
2. saves as virtual CutePDF in your PDF directory.
3. open the *.PDF from the directory
4. click on the blue link.
5. authorize Adobe reader to open web
6. here is ... Ah Ah ! done.

A crude workaround might be to go via Latex format and using the hyperref package. This of course destroys the 2D layout of the document.

How to do post 63, example to download, it works back for me.
Federico didn't reply. Downloaded 3 times only, maybe limited interest.
What we don't know: Smath version that have save as *.PDF may not
recognize save as virtual printer ... Use freeware CutePDF virtual printer.

Hi Jean, I have read your reply and looked for CutePDF, will test it on my home pc (don't want to install to much on the office pc on my own ).
On the other hand, I think I will not try the LaTex option, too complicated for me to involve LaTex for this task only.

has been experiencing the following problem for some time now (so not only in the latest version of development available).
To generate a hyperlink quickly and without forgetting any characters, I used to copy the full name of the file to the clipboard and then copy it into smath. As shown in the figure, the simple procedure indicated is complicated by the fact that the particular characters (including the dot and the colon that are always present and in any case) are apparently well copied in smath (as seen from the string) but if applied in the Hiperlink Region , give problems.
