Hi,

i have to questions at the moment:

-is it possible to write a overdot like for the volumetric flow rate?



-how could i write double subscripts?

e.g.:

Hello Topaz,

I have no answer to your first question - I don't know.
Maybe another user has a solution for that.

To your second question:
as far as I know (and use), you can only write one (1) subscript, but you can than add an index number with the "[" key.
in fact you define a vector.

In maths works ang Engineering works, subscripts are confusing.
To me: completely useless, never use. Occasionaly, as short
description is usefull to evidence the RHS construction.

Further, Smath is very limited in the ASCII 'Alt+0key'. Probably
because of the so many languages it was designed to accomodate.
NONE of my Smath Engineering work sheet contains subscript.

As you can see in the reply from Jean, you can use - as a workaround - the underscore in the subscript:

Yes, csb531: underscore is a variable name by itself,
like this ... _(x):=sin(x)
or as a "union/separator" in variable name definition
as well as "union/separator" in subscripted text.
