Symbolic Laplace transform - Сообщения
Hi everyone,
I recently discovered SmathStudio, and am performing a few tests to assess whether or not I can use it in my undergraduate courses.
I wonder if symbolic laplace transform / inverse laplace transform functions exist ?
I made a search in the forum and understood that maple routines could be used, and also that a code for numerical computation of the Laplace inverse was proposed. However those aren't really what I'm searching for.
(unless I'm not obliged to either buy maple...)
Kind regards,
Nicolas

Try Maxima plugin
[MATH=eng]Maxima(assume(ω>0))=ω>0[/MATH]
[MATH=eng]Maxima(laplace(sin(ω*t),t,s))=ω/{s^2+ω^2}[/MATH]
[MATH=eng]Maxima(ilt(ω/{s^2+ω^2},s,t))=sin(ω*t)[/MATH]

When Sisyphus climbed to the top of a hill, they said: "Wrong boulder!"
You might try the Maxima plugin. Maxima is free and open source. I tried to reproduce some of the handbook examples.
