When selecting excel cells and pasting into smath it used to paste as a nice resolution image which is superior to using snipping tool. Now when I do it, I get a text box of the text somewhat formatted. Was this a change that was implemented intentionally or maybe i'm using a plugin im not aware of? Is there a way to restore pasting images by copying and pasting from excel as I do this quite often.

Hi. As workaround you can try the following:
- Create a "Picture" in SMath, from the menu or with Ctrl-T
- Paste on it the excel region
- Right click on the Picture and unselect "Edit".

Now you can resize the image as any other embeded image in the document.
