I get an issue trying to install Zedgraph plugin with most recent beta. Not sure if it worked in previous versions.

Few days ago, ZedGraph was reported not working.
Today, I downloaded "Filter response" that has the lo-log ZedGraph.
It couldn't find it in version 6179, said yes to "continue",
here is the log-log plot working in 6179. I checked the "Insert"
menu ... now it is in the "Insert" menu.
It might install itself for you like it did for me ... try .

You need administrator rights to run. The location of the extensions folder is strange ('C:\Program Files (x86)\SMath Studio\extensions\' ). Usually it is located in a %user%\AppData folder. Maybe you need to completely uninstall the program and reinstall it without administrator rights.

This might happen if a portable distribution has been stored under 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SMath Studio' or an ordinary installer version has been made portable (by placing a file portable.version in the install dir).

thanks. Re-ran SMath with Admin rights and it seemed to clear up. I did have portable distribution in there at some point

I've realized it is because of SMath Studio uses .Net 4.0 when available on the machine. For some reason .Net 4.0 trying to search for .resources file, which does not exist in the plug-in at all.
It is easy to fix this by removing resources files from the plug-in project (so, the text entries will be hardcoded), but I do not think it is a best choice.

The configurations of my ZedGraph region is not maintained when using the Viewer (free version).
Is there some specific configuration I should check?

Can you specify what exactly do you mean? The formatting dialog appears when you double-click on the chart.

I didn't know that. But is there a way to freeze the configurations set in the .sm when creatng the .exe?
I don't want users to mind about it.

Hello, I have a question regarding ZedGraph.
I want to set the axis range (xmax and ymax) from the calculation sheet.
If I use the XY-Plot this is possible using the setprop() function or
by setting the value of the variable "XYPlot.XLimMax" to the desired value.
How can this be done using ZedGraph? I assume that it is although possible with
the setprop() function but I don't know the name and the syntax of the
corresponding variable. Can anyone give me a hint?

Theoretically, this is possible, but now there is one small problem that I have not yet solved. The problem is setting indexed properties. For the same reason, the properties of curves for X-Y Plot are not yet available for changing. I will let you know when this can be done.

For XY-Plot

setprop("Test_Plot.XAxis.Max", )=

works perfect. To identify the plot there is a property "NAME".
(In the example above the name is "Test_Plot" ).

Now I tried to do the same for ZedGraph.

setprop("myPane.XAxis.Scale.Max", )=

But ZedGraph has no property called "NAME".
Now the question: Is there any string
for "myPane" to identify the ZedGraph-Plot
to set the value of XAxis.Scale.Max?

Updated. Experimental build. Be careful with this. You need to update X-Y Plot first.

P.S. "Name" property is not saved. This will be more difficult to fix, as component uses a binary format for storing settings.
