QuoteHKCU - Abbreviated from the registry key name HKEY_CURRENT_USER. HKCU stores settings that are specific to the currently logged-in user. The HKCU key is a link to the subkey of HKEY_USERS that corresponds to the user; the same information is reflected in both locations.
QuoteHKU - Abbreviated from the registry key name HKEY_USERS. HKU contains subkeys corresponding to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER keys for each user registered on the machine
I posted a similar question to the Toolslib Forum but no answer until now. I hoped they put these keys in a white list (no option for the final user). It seems that AdwCleaner is a little bit paranoïd (obviously, it's a safe attitude)...
If not, is it possible to erase these keys in the registry (either by AdwCleaner or directly within the registry, using regedit or other) without disrupting Smath ?
Best regards/Cordiali saluti

WroteThanks for this precise answer.
You are very welcome

I suppose it depends because one may write almost everything in the registry, following is own "pattern", thus is not easy to have precise answers valid for every case.

100% agree

Not sure, we may wait an answer from the author, but if possible would be better to put it in a local whitelist (if the software let you do it).

AdwCleaner reminds me years... years ago JV16 would want to zap all Mathcad !!!
AdwCleaner rocognises published crap. It questions what it does not know.
SpyWare is another one of same questionability.

Thanks Jean for your comment. AdwCleaner is several times updated a week.
I received a response from ToolsLib here. The false positive should be corrected.
Best regards,
Pekoe
